Very nice, I can’t imagine how impressive and deep all that figure will look once you’ve got a finish on (especially given how wood always looks better in person than photos ever convey.)
Beautiful, great proportions and a nice fit! What’s the plan for finishing? I’d be inclined to go with a coat or two of oil topped with some amber shellac, but you could still go for the pink and purple milk paint 🙂
Our little Marilyn is growing up.
Love this project and your posts of the process.
Thanks! Lookin’ forward to getting finish on this puppy!
Nice!!
ummm….
I’m actually speechless
😀
Looks awesome without the finish. Excellent!
Thanks! 🙂

Oh, I’ve had a ton of advice on finish .. although no one has recommended pink and purple milk paint (eww boy!).
I was going to do marine varnish but decided it was over kill for my out of the rain and sunshine spot on the porch. Teak oil will be the finish.
