For the date, the calendar says January, so if you research the years January 1st fell on a thursday, its either 1914, 1925, 1931, 1942, 1953, or 1959. Based on the other things I see in the shop, like electric lites, styles of fixtures, type of furniture being built, types of tools, and their dress, I would guess 1931, maybe 1942…

I thought only white collar workers wore ties 🙂 Oh wait, those are white collars.
