Handworks 2013

So I made it back from Amana, IA last night.  I got through the trip mostly unscathed although my tool fund is now officially empty.  I know a lot of folks wanted to go and couldn’t for many reasons.  So I thought I’d share my photos to give you an idea of what went on.

Woodworking .. bird style

One of the abandoned rental houses has a tenant who working on making a home in the rental .. with out paying rent.  More photos to come as things progress.

BTW, no, I’m not letting the owner know.  This house has been flooded, is full of mold and was a puppy mill prior to that.  The neighborhood is hoping the house is eventually razed and it might as well be doing something positive in the meantime while the owner is continuing to neglect it.
