So we journeyed to Manzanita, Oregon and then traveled up to Port Townsend School of Woodworking for a .. woodworking class, of course. This was a Handtool Intensives classand crammed full of information.
There was some crazy lookin’ dude there trying to teach us how the French used their workbenches as shooting boards. He looked familiar, but I couldn’t quite place him.

It was an awesome class and much fun was had. I have at least a few stories that will pay for beer anytime I want to threaten to tell them. In addition to learning hand tool techniques, we also made the English layout square, which I didn’t quite finish. More pictures of that when it’s done.
Oh, and I discovered an new t-shirt collection when in PT. And I so almost bought this for that crazy lookin’ dude.
Oh .. and there’s a woodworking one as well. ;~D
I wish we had had that T-shirt last week, very appropriate!
