More work on the top Top clean up End grain with splines My refurbed No. 4 with a Hock blade did a nice job on the 1/4 sawn mahogany. There were only a few place that needed scraping. I’ll be using a pore filler to make sure its nice and smooth.
Finally .. the end table drawers. Making the slots for the drawer .. and the glue up. The fitting of the drawer before clean up. After clean up.
Done! The end tables are done .. .. and installed. … And yes, I’ll still have to make the drawers. Hmmm .. looks like we might need some help in the lamp department.
Underside bevel of the Table top I was able to complete the underside bevel on the table top with my hand planes .. and it was very fun to do. Tough to take a picture of, though! On the next one, I need to be a little less aggressive with my marking gauge.
