One of the last thing is to make false for the 2nd top section on the TV Lift Cabinet. It’s pretty straight forward but fun to do.
3 Tips for Better Finger Joints
I’m thinking about box joints for my TV Lift cabinet drawers. Maple all around joined by finger joints with cherry front applied.
I finally finished up the drawer for my bedside table. I’ll be working on the TV lift table but progress and blogging will be sparse. I’m dealing with a medical issue (my knee) that’s going to make it difficult to do much woodworking for the next few months .. at least.

After sawing the 45 degree angle, I double checked it. 
Then I set up the jointer and gauge fence for clean up. 
The fence helped keep the angle as I cleaned off the saw marks. 
Then I did a final localized clean up with my block plane. 
After I cleaned up, I double check the angle again. 
Then I used my small router to create a mortise for the hinges. 
One side of the hinge done.
Above is the process I used to create the fold down drawer front for the pull out key board tray. The drawer front is not yet cut to size so it will be significantly smaller.
