I haven’t blogged about it since .. sheez .. March (Everything’s better with a face frame even the view from above). I’ve managed to get my knee functioning well again .. without surgery but with lots of PT. So I’m back in the saddle and had some time this weekend to work on the lift cabinet.
I’ve making slow but steady progress on my Kerfing Plane. This is a project from the Unplugged Workshop book. I’ve got a nice wide piece of curly cherry to resaw and its too big for my band saw.
So .. as if I didn’t have enough projects going on .. I’m also planning on building the next Wood Whisperer Guild project – the Morris Chair. It’ll be a while before I get to it, but I wanted to get the wood in my shop so it would be ready when I am. Marc at the Wood Whisperer has teamed up with Bell Forest Lumber to provide kits for the project.
Check out the nice figured cherry that came in the mail from Bell Forest. Can’t wait to get started. 🙂
I finally finished up the drawer for my bedside table. I’ll be working on the TV lift table but progress and blogging will be sparse. I’m dealing with a medical issue (my knee) that’s going to make it difficult to do much woodworking for the next few months .. at least.
Anyway, final shots of the Bedside Table:
