Yes, plywood .. I’m using plywood for this project.
Plywood, especially full sheets of 3/4″ are a pain to work with. I already miss my hand planes. Turns out, I’ve never made a plywood furniture project.

Woodworking seems to have helped me be better organized .. or maybe just it made me have OCD? Anyway, this was a fun little project.
I used a story stick to make sure that lay out is consistent.
Cutting to length and mitering the joints.
Shooting the edges.
Clamp up.
Glue up.
Miter keys installed.
Alder sock boxes
