Today I installed to drawer slides using a plywood spacer.
Then I cut all the parts for the doors and arranged them to make sure grain patterns work. Next I’ll make the mortise, tenons and grooves for the door panels.

My refurbed No. 4 with a Hock blade did a nice job on the 1/4 sawn mahogany. There were only a few place that needed scraping. I’ll be using a pore filler to make sure its nice and smooth.

A friend of mine is helping me rout spline groove in the edges of my desk top pieces over the weekend on his router table. I’m preping the boards so that it’ll all be ready for the router and glue up.
First drawer installed
Work’s been getting in the way of desk progress. All my normal time off has gotten consumed by meetings and other work stuff. So today I got my first real time in the shop and managed to get my first drawer in.
